Increasingly, FROEBEL receives enquiries from abroad from early childhood professionals and managers of other ECEC centres, from universities and from investors in foreign kindergarten providers about the various key elements in FROEBEL’s pedagogical approach.
For this reason, FROEBEL offers international guests from Europe or beyond a programme of visits and professional training covering a variety of early learning topics. This can be offered in English or German (with an interpreter supplied by the guests).
International Visitor and Training Programme
The key content of the study visit programme is:
- FROEBEL’s name-giver Friedrich FROEBEL
- the general pedagogical approach of FROEBEL
- the general statutory requirements for early childhood learning in Germany
- Architecture and interior design
- Quality management
The programme consists of a mix of training in the Berlin head office and visits or work shadowing activities in FROEBEL kindergartens with a corresponding focus so that the visitors can see for themselves how this particular element is put into practice. For their part, the kindergarten teams like to use these visits to exchange professional experience and for intercultural development.
Since 2000, FROEBEL has offered people the opportunity to obtain professional training online. Enquiries can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
