FRÖBEL´s international activities
FROEBEL’s approach is to learn from others and to share its own experiences. This does not just apply to the 200 FROEBEL early childhood services in Germany but beyond our national borders as well. Through intercultural exchange with other kindergartens, differences in education and child-rearing due to different centre concepts or service philosophy can be identified, and good examples integrated into our everyday pedagogical work. Conversely, FROEBEL Early Learning Centres are happy to provide insights into their successful ideas. Thus, FROEBEL is keen to participate as a German member of a European network in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC).
FROEBEL is internationally active as follows:
- A total of 5 kindergartens are currently being operated in Australia and Poland. It is planned to expand these numbers.
- International visitors can get to know the educational methodology practised at FROEBEL through digital programmes or study visits.
- We are an active member of the European Erasmus+ network.
Many families and early childhood professionals in our centres come from other countries. Half of FROEBEL’s centres work bilingually (predominantly German/English).
