englischsprachige*n Erzieher*in bzw. Kindheitspädagog*in in Teilzeit

mit 30 Wochenstunden. Der Vertrag wird unbefristet geschlossen.

Über unsere Einrichtung:

Unser FRÖBEL-Kindergarten Springfrosch im Wissenschaftspark Golm befindet sich mitten im Grünen und ist leicht durch die Regionalbahn zu erreichen. Hier betreut ein engagiertes, multikulturelles Team von 17 pädagogischen Mitarbeiter*innen und bereits 3 englischsprachigen Kolleg*innen liebevoll 120 fröhliche und lebendige Kinder im Alter von 8 Wochen bis zum Schuleintritt. Die Pädagogik ist geprägt durch Offenheit, Partizipation und Individualisierung. Unsere Erzieher*innen gehen auf die Bedürfnisse und Interessen der Kinder ein, indem sie diese im pädagogischen Alltag aufgreifen. Eine anregend gestaltete Umgebung mit vielfältigen Materialien fördert die Bildungs- und Entwicklungsprozesse der Kinder.

Die Schwerpunkte bilinguale Arbeit, Natur, Forschen und Nachhaltigkeit spielen hierbei eine große Rolle im pädagogischen Alltag unseres Hauses. Die unmittelbare Nähe des Kindergartens zum Wald bietet viel Raum für Projekte und Unternehmungen in der Natur, und die wissenschaftliche Atmosphäre durch den Standort Golm regt zum Forschen und Experimentieren an.

Darüber hinaus bietet der hauseigene (Kräuter-)Garten den Kindern viel Platz zum Spielen und Entdecken. In der hauseigenen Küche werden die Speisen von zwei Köch*innen für eine ausgewogene Ernährung frisch zubereitet. Unsere Einrichtung nimmt zudem am Bildungsprogramm GemüseAckerdemie teil. Ein besonderes Highlight bildet hierbei der eigene Gemüseacker, auf dem die Kinder mit Unterstützung der Erzieher*innen eigenes Gemüse anbauen, bewässern und ernten.

Your responsibilities would include: 

  • Supporting all aspects of early childhood education and care in English, 
  • Being in charge of (or supporting according to experience and qualification) the settling-in process, 
  • Planning, implementing and documenting pedagogical processes and daily routines (as part of a team),
  • Completing (or supporting according to experience and qualification) structured observation and documentation of the children’s development and educational processes, 
  • Developing successful cooperation with parents.

Do you fulfil the following requirements? 

  • Are you a native speaker of English, or do you speak English at native level? 
  • Are you in the process of learning German and have achieved level B2? 
  • Are you a state-certified educator (staatlich anerkannnte*r Erzieher*in) or do you have a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education?
  • Are you interested in working as part of a team to further develop our in-house bilingual education concept?

  • A salary according to the FRÖBEL in-house wage agreement, the only collective wage agreement that takes further training and education into account for advancement, guarantees fixed preparation and follow-up times and offers a reduction in working hours for older employees,
  • Up to 220 Euro inflation compensation bonus every month from July 2023 to February 2024, as well as from March 2024 a salary increase by a base amount of up to 200 Euro and an additional increase of 5.5%,
  • 33 days of holiday per year, December 24 and 31 paid days off,
  • Up to 99 Euro monthly in addition to your salary: you can choose between a combination of the “Deutschland Ticket” (for local public transport, 49 Euro) and the FRÖBEL-BenefitCard (50 Euro), or a monthly mobility allowance of up to 99 Euro for a JobRad (BenefitCard and JobRad are available after the probationary period),
  • 733 Euro allowance for completing the “Online-FRÖBEL-Curriculum” in the first six months,
  • A company pension scheme of 4% paid by the employer, as well as an annual bonus payment,
  • A company tablet (also for private use) – at this stage not available at all locations – please enquire during recruitment process, as well as
  • Up to 600 Euro bonus payment for the successful recommendation of a recognised early childhood educator (“Fachkraft”) and access to the discount portals “Corporate Benefits” and “Ticketsprinter”.
