Our cooperative partners
FRÖBEL Group partners many institutions, commercial enterprises and communities. Together we seek ways to improve the care of children and the educational quality of childcare provision.
Alice Salomon Hochschule Berlin
FRÖBEL Group cooperates with the Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences in Berlin to offer academic training for early-years education professionals.
Together with the Alice Salomon University and the professional development initiative Weiterbildungsinitiative Frühpädagogische Fachkräfte, FRÖBEL Group has developed a reference text portal for early-years education: www.kita-fachtexte.de.
www.kita-fachtexte.de supports teachers and students at universities and colleges, as well as professionals in crèches and day-care facilities in their work with children under three years. The new online portal makes current study texts available to download free.
GEW and PädQUIS
In 2011 FRÖBEL Group started a comprehensive project for human resource development and educational quality development. As part of this project we developed innovative instruments for further training and professional development, created a framework of reference for best educational practices and tested and permanently implemented a concept of systematic quality development and quality assurance in kindergartens and after-school clubs through adult education measures.
Up to the end of 2013 the FRÖBEL Education & Training Centre was cooperating with the education professionals’ union Gewerkschaft Erziehung und Wissenschaft (GEW) and PädQUIS gGmbH on several sub-projects.
FRÖBEL e.V. is a member of the umbrella organisation of social movements Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband.
Stiftung Haus der kleinen Forscher
Since 2010, FRÖBEL has been a partner of the Little Scientists’ House foundation. The common goal is to bring young children to the subject of MINT - mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology - and to give them the opportunity to discover and explore the world around them. Via the FRÖBEL-own network, our trainers offer various workshops for our 3,000 pedagogical specialists every year. In perspective, the number of certified FRÖBEL centres as a "Little Scientists' House" is to rise to nearly 100 percent by 2020.
Stiftung Lesen: Bundesweiter Vorlesetag
Since looking at picture books and reading aloud are amongst the most effective forms of language intervention, teachers in FRÖBEL kindergartens and after-school clubs are taking advantage of cooperation with the Stiftung Lesen. Moreover, the FRÖBEL Group is an official supporter of the Bundesweiter Vorlesetag (National Read To Me Day), which is celebrated every year in November.
Stiftung Lesen: Deutscher Lesepreis
Stiftung Lesen awards the German Reading Prize (Deutscher Lesepreis) for outstanding commitment to the encouragement of reading. In 2013 the FRÖBEL Group donated the German Reading Prize in the category “Outstanding Commitment to the Community”. The Prize is awarded to institutions, commercial enterprises, organisations and local authorities which have shown outstanding commitment to promoting reading at the local level.

Erwachsenen-Bildungswerk in Brandenburg
Since September 2009 the FRÖBEL Brandenburg gGmbH has been cooperating with the Brandenburg branch of the adult education organisation Deutschen Erwachsenen-Bildungswerk (DEB).
As a result of this cooperation, a class of early-years teachers is being taught about Fröbel education, and the mission statement, unique features, conceptual framework and other Fröbel-specific quality standards, in addition to their normal curriculum. Their practical training is undertaken exclusively in FRÖBEL centres in Cottbus and Senftenberg.
Little Scientists Australia und Early Childhood Australia
As sole partner, FRÖBEL brought the Little Scientists’ House to Australia. The Little Little Scientists are now supporting education professionals in Australia based on the German model, giving them the qualifications to spark, encourage and guide the scientific spirit in girls and boys of kindergarten and primary school age.
