We are currently looking for English native-level early childhood professionals who want to shape high-quality education and care - and who identify with Fröbel and our values.
The Fröbel-Kindergarten and Familienzentrum Taunuspänz in Humboldt-Gremberg supports children and families with a wide range of offers in the Kita and in the neighbourhood. As a certified family centre, we place a special focus on language, health and nutrition. We are looking for a part-time early childhood educator with 25-30 hours per week who will enrich our team with commitment and their own ideas. Our culturally diverse team is characterised by an honest, friendly approach and enjoyment of working on joint projects.

Aufgaben im Überblick
- Support all aspects of early childhood education and care in English, embedding language naturally in play, routines and projects
- Take responsibility for (or support) the settling-in process, ensuring a trusting, secure start for children and families
- Plan, implement and document pedagogical processes and daily routines as part of a team
- Carry out (or support) structured observation and documentation of children’s development and learning processes
- Build strong, respectful cooperation with parents, communicating clearly and reliably in an international context
Profil und Voraussetzungen
- You are an early childhood educator or special needs care worker (Heilerziehungspfleger) with state recognition, a childhood pedagogue, social pedagogue, special education teacher, rehabilitation pedagogue, educational scientist, or health and paediatric nurse (Gesundheits- und Kinderkrankenpfleger:in), or you hold an equivalent qualification.
- You are enthusiastic about working with children and can respond well to their interests and needs.
- You enjoy working with children from different cultural backgrounds and are passionate about intercultural work.
- You are interested in further professional development or already bring additional qualifications, for example in language support, nutrition and movement, nature education or music education.
- You commit with us to ensuring that all children, regardless of their origin or family language, have equal educational opportunities.
- You have English skills at native or near-native level.
- You have German skills at least at B2 level.
